Responsibilities

Apply advanced qualitative and behavioral science methodologies to uncover deep, human-centered insights
Leverage innovative approaches—such as ethnography, implicit testing, and behavioral frameworks—to elevate the strategic value of research
Design research that explicitly tests behavioral hypotheses and connects them to concrete behavior change opportunities
Operationalize behavioral constructs into measurable variables that can inform segmentation, targeting, and intervention design
Leverage AI-enabled tools to accelerate research synthesis, theme development, and early drafts, while upholding analytical rigor, transparency, and client confidentiality
Support, or in some cases lead, the end-to-end execution of custom qualitative market research projects, ensuring alignment with client goals, timelines, and budgets
Manage the research lifecycle from assisting in proposal development and study design, to owning data collection, analysis, synthesis, and reporting
Maintain a rigorous approach to project oversight, ensuring high-quality deliverables that reflect behavioral science and BEESY best practices
Use LLMs to streamline project workflows and to improve speed-to-insight
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong relationships through proactive communication and a deep understanding of their business needs
Support senior leadership in presenting research findings and insights, delivering clear, strategic, and actionable recommendations
Translate complex behavioral science concepts into accessible language and practical frameworks that clients can apply internally
Collaborate closely with senior researchers, analysts, operations, and client services to deliver research that drives real-world impact
Provide mentorship and developmental guidance to junior researchers, promoting a culture of learning and professional growth
Champion teamwork, psychological safety, and shared accountability across project teams
Leverage AI as a 'thought-partner' to enhance brainstorming and accelerate the process of making ideas a reality
Stay abreast of trends in healthcare and pharmaceuticals, including evolving stakeholder needs, competitive landscapes, and market access dynamics
Translate industry knowledge and synthesize emerging behavioral science literature into relevant research strategies and contextualized insights for clients
Serve as an internal thought leader on behavioral science applications in healthcare
Proactively build AI fluency through experimentation, training, and knowledge-sharing, contributing to the evolution of BEESY’s AI standards and internal playbooks
Support building and growing strategic relationships with existing and potential clients to expand our footprint and long-term value
Contribute to proposal development and pitch preparation for new and existing clients
Shape briefs and scopes of work through a behavioral lens—clarifying target behaviors, defining behaviorally grounded hypotheses, and proposing differentiated BEESY approaches

Required

Permanent Employment Authorization required
Master's Degree or higher in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Anthropology, Public Health, or related field preferred
5+ years of experience (preferred) in qualitative market research, with a strong background in behavioral science and/or healthcare/pharmaceutical industries
Proven track record of managing complex research projects and leading cross-functional teams
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data into compelling narratives
Deep familiarity with qualitative research tools, behavioral frameworks, and human-centered design principles
Strong business acumen and a collaborative mindset, with experience supporting or leading client engagements
Strong enthusiasm for AI and its integration into market research
Baseline proficiency with use and adaptation of large language models (LLMs) to optimize day-to-day workflows, analyses, and written communications
Sound judgment around data privacy, confidentiality, and appropriate validation of AI-assisted outputs
Strong organization, attention to detail, clear communication, and steady growth in qualitative methods, behavioral science principles, and healthcare/rare disease context
Proactive learners; operating with greater independence over time, anticipating needs, and contributing consistently to synthesis and storytelling
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Interest in healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, and curiosity about behavioral science applications
Positive, collaborative attitude and eagerness to learn from senior mentors and contribute to team success
Comfort learning/using new tools and workflows; curiosity about AI/LLM-supported productivity

Preferred

Master's degree in behavioral science, psychology, public health, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
1–4 years of relevant experience in qualitative market research, behavioral science research, and/or healthcare/pharmaceutical settings
