Responsibilities

Develop SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to support data warehouse and BI applications
Design, develop, and implement ETL packages using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Review and optimize existing SQL queries and execution plans for performance improvements
Convert manual data manipulation processes (e.g., Excel-based) into automated SSIS workflows
Review and enhance SQL development processes, including code promotion and code reviews
Develop test plans and thoroughly test reports, workflows, and data processes
Create clear and concise technical documentation for requirements, processes, and workflows
Collaborate with team members to ensure adherence to best practices and project timelines

Required

5+ years of experience in SQL database development and programming
3+ years of experience in QA/testing roles
Strong experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Ability to write technical documentation and communicate effectively
Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal guidance
Proven experience working collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred

Experience with automation tools such as Power Automate
Knowledge of data governance best practices and procedures
Background in investment or financial market industry
