Responsibilities

Oversee all phases of physical production to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with creative objectives
Serve as the operational lead connecting creative, production, and post teams to drive clarity, communication, and execution
Develop, manage, and report on production budgets, ensuring financial accountability through cost tracking, forecasts, and variance analysis
Build and maintain production schedules, proactively identifying and resolving risks to meet milestones and delivery deadlines
Oversee daily logistics—including crew staffing, locations, vendors, and compliance—to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Partner with production teams by providing expertise, clarity, and operational support to enable effective execution
Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and freelancers in partnership with Legal and Finance, ensuring cost efficiency and quality output
Lead production planning and execution across multiple content types, including scripted, unscripted, digital, and marketing-driven productions
Independently coordinate on-set and production-day activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality execution
Provide regular production and financial updates to leadership, offering recommendations that balance creative ambition with operational feasibility

Required

Bachelor's degree in Film Production, Media, Communications and 8+ years of experience in film, television, or media production, including at least 5 years of senior-level production experience, including oversight of crews, set operations, permitting, safety, and daily production logistics (Senior or Line Producer level) OR 10+ years of experience in film, television, or media production, including at least 5 years of senior-level production, including oversight of crews, set operations, permitting, safety, and daily production logistics (Senior or Line Producer level)
Proven track record leading the operational execution of large-scale productions from concept through delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to creative standards
Demonstrated experience developing, managing, and reporting on production budgets and cost tracking
Strong understanding of physical and post-production workflows, budgeting, accounting, permitting, and logistics
Experience collaborating with union and non-union crews, vendors, and external production partners
Knowledge of compliance requirements related to safety, labor rules, location regulations, and insurance processes
Deep knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and cost management using industry-standard tools (e.g., Movie Magic Budgeting/Scheduling, Scenechronize, ShotGrid, Excel/Google Sheets)
Strong communication and influence skills, using subject-matter expertise to guide workflows and solve problems independently
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; adept at balancing creative objectives with operational and financial realities
Highly organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment
Demonstrated ability to translate creative vision into actionable production strategies
Commitment to maintaining an inclusive, respectful, and solutions-oriented production culture
Experience leading productions across multiple formats such as scripted, unscripted, digital, commercial, or branded content
Experience negotiating and managing contracts with vendors, freelancers, and production partners, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with project goals
Ability to work flexible or extended hours as production demands require

Preferred

Experience producing content for streaming platforms, branded entertainment, or digital media
Familiarity with international production logistics, co-productions, and tax incentive processes
Strong vendor and partner management experience across multiple production scales and formats
Proven success in developing and maintaining efficient production workflows and documentation systems
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with evolving creative priorities and tight deadlines
