Posttdoctoral Research Associate

Responsibilities
Employ multidisciplinary approaches by combining stem cell biology and genetic approaches with transgenic model systems and single cells analysis to understand fundamental mechanisms of tissue regeneration and to develop advanced therapeutics for tissue injury
Work on key research areas including Notch signaling in hematopoietic niche cellular microenvironments and endothelial bone marrow niche regeneration
Prepare research papers, apply for fellowships, and present at national/international meetings
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree in Biomedical Sciences
Preferred
Demonstrated expertise with a publication record in at least three of the following areas: Cell biology techniques with required experience in: cell culture, flow cytometry, confocal microscopy
Molecular biology and engineering: e.g. plasmid cloning, CRISPR
Animal studies with rodents: e.g. transplantation, survival surgery, in vivo imaging
Minimum of two first-author primary research articles in international journals
Strong writing skills and oral communication
Inherent motivation to pursue high quality research
Evidence of collaboration and mentoring of others
