New Grad, Entry LevelPer Sé Group is seeking a Sinker EDM Field Service Technician for our client, North America’s premier supplier and servicer of lasers, EDMs, press brakes and fabrication and milling equipment. In this role, you will utilize customer communication skills, and your mechanical and electrical knowledge to repair, troubleshoot, modify, and test complex technical problems on Machining products.

Responsibilities
Travel to customer locations to diagnose complex technical problems and perform on-site repair
Examine machines mechanically and electrically in order to perform repairs by dismantling machines and rebuilding as needed
Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone
Communicate professionally and effectively with customers
Effectively interpret schematics and block diagrams to analyze
Document in detail product problems and resolutions

Extensive travel necessary
Current valid drivers' license required
Preferred
2-year Electronic or Technical Degree, or experience equivalent
Working knowledge of how to read mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams
Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems
Skilled in mechanical measurement and inspection techniques (Dial Indicators, Micrometers, and Calipers)
Skilled in Electrical measurement and inspection techniques (Voltmeter, Oscilloscope and other measurement equipment)
CNC programming skills a plus
Excellent oral and written communication skills
