Responsibilities

Support the design, development, systems integration and verification of advanced avionics systems, including hardware, software, and network components
Provide successful execution of complex engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality standards
Implement and enforce security measures and compliance standards to safeguard systems and data
Development, systems integration and verification of core Aircraft State and/or Aircraft Systems monitoring and synoptics application to be hosted on the Next Generation Avionics Platform

Required

6 plus years of experience in systems engineering and project leadership, including system design, architecture, integration, implementation, and troubleshooting
Experience using engineering tools and technologies relevant to systems development
Experience with model-based system design
U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, asylum or refugee status in the U.S, or have the ability to obtain an export authorization

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
Experience in leading complex system integration projects
Experience with Simulink
Ability to work under minimal supervision
Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies with proven ability to ensure compliance with industry standards
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Passion for innovation and continuous learning
Experience with working with sensors used for aircraft position, navigation (air data, AHRS, GPS)
Experience integrating or interfacing with aircraft systems (flaps, gear, cabin pressure, FADEC)
Understanding of the software development lifecycle (DO-178C preferred)
