Principal Technical Program Manager - AGC
Microsoft has an exciting opportunity for a Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive end-to-end hardware strategy. Responsibilities
Defining and driving prioritization and sequencing of hardware investments across general compute, specialty compute, storage, and GPUs (graphics processing units)
Representing Microsoft in next-generation hardware planning with public cloud teams, influencing platform direction and establishing plans-of-record for critical requirements
Shaping long-term strategy for hardware enablement in regulated environments, anticipating market trends and customer needs
Orchestrating execution across engineering, supply chain, planning, and operations teams to ensure timely, reliable hardware delivery
Driving process optimization and standardization to improve delivery predictability and accelerate time to market
Leading escalation management, dependency resolution, and trade-off decisions across programs
Serving as the single accountable owner for roadmap clarity, dependency management, and cross-organizational communication

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development OR equivalent experience
3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects
This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter
This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States that does not now or in the future require employer sponsorship
Preferred
Existing US Government Clearance or ability and willingness to acquire and maintain a US Government Clearance
3+ years leading delivery of cloud hardware solutions and driving requirements for Azure or comparable infrastructure platforms
3+ years managing cross-functional team projects involving hardware lifecycle, supply chain, or cloud infrastructure delivery
Previous experience leading teams
Direct GPU lifecycle planning experience
