Supply Chain - Area Project Manager

Responsibilities

Demonstrate a hands-on approach in leading supply chain projects from initiation through completion, including project planning, resource allocation, timeline management, and stakeholder engagement
Assist in developing project plans, milestones, and progress to ensure timely delivery of objectives
Help mitigate project risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes
Facilitate area Requests for Proposal (RFPs), manage project budgets, and drive cost reduction initiatives
Assist in building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and internal customers to support project goals and foster collaboration
Contribute to supplier performance reviews, feedback, and issue resolution
Support supplier development and continuous improvement initiatives within the region
Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain projects and supplier performance
Collect, analyze, and report data on project outcomes and supplier metrics to the Area Supply Chain Manager on a quarterly basis
Present findings and recommendations to drive strategic decision-making and process improvements
Assist in developing and implementing sourcing strategies for assigned spend categories, leveraging volume and spend to maximize value
Collaborate with Corporate Strategic Sourcing Managers and Area Procurement Managers to align area initiatives with enterprise objectives
Continuously seek opportunities to reduce costs and enhance contract compliance
Work closely with other ASCPMs, functional subject matter experts, and business units to share best practices and drive value chain improvements
Participate in special projects and activities that enhance the effectiveness of the supply chain department

Required

Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field; or High School Diploma/GED (accredited) and four (4) years of relevant work experience
Minimum five (5) years of experience in supply chain project management, procurement, or related roles
Demonstratable interpersonal and communication skills
General knowledge of project management, financial analysis, and purchasing
Solid analytical and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
Experience with strategic sourcing, supplier development, and performance measurement

Preferred

Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma) or CASCPM desirable
Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite
