InternClimateMaster, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Intern to work in their New Product Development team. This role involves assisting full-time engineers in the design, development, and implementation of HVAC products, while providing support across various functions including manufacturing and compliance.
Manufacturing
Responsibilities
Provide measurable contribution to project and sustaining initiatives
Support product qualification and agency compliance test programs
Document product designs by preparing bills of material, drawings, and product change notifications
Interface with vendors, customers, and field personnel
Conduct analytical studies employing state-of-the-art simulation tools
Ensure design quality, supporting your calculations and design proposals
Support manufacturing, sales & marketing, quality, and supply chain functions
Qualification
Required
Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor's degree program in mechanical engineering or Related Field, or applicable work experience
Entry Level
Familiar with computer programming languages
Familiar with Microsoft Office suite products
Basic knowledge of engineering principles, design practices and core disciplines
Basic knowledge of HVAC system design and applications
Knowledge of the fundamentals of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and heat exchanger design
Preferred
Preferred emphasis on HVAC system design or thermal sciences
