Responsibilities
Perform daily rounds and readings inspections of all Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) systems
Execute preventative maintenance and corrective repair activities
Manage and complete CMMS work orders
Escort and oversee third-party vendors, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards
Support electrical and mechanical systems including UPS, generators, chillers, HVAC, and electrical distribution systems
Ensure compliance with EHS policies, PPE requirements, regulatory standards, and quality procedures
Assist with development of Job Hazard Analyses (JHA), SOPs, and risk assessments
Maintain accurate documentation, logbooks, and CERM records
Participate in required training to support safe and effective job performance
Qualification
Required
4–5 years of hands-on data center experience, specifically on the mechanical and electrical operations side
Completed Trade School Program
Strong mechanical and electrical skills
Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints
Strong communication skills
Willingness to learn and adapt in a critical-environment setting
Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred
Certified Electrician or HVAC Technician
Multi-skilled experience across Electrical and HVAC systems
Ability to mentor or share technical knowledge with other technicians
