Junior Cyber Sustainment Analyst
Cimarron Inc. is seeking a Junior Cyber Sustainment Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The role involves developing and executing cybersecurity strategies, supporting cyber operations, and maintaining documentation to ensure compliance and security standards.

Responsibilities
Support the development and execution of cyberspace security strategies and plans for the Missile Defense Agency (MDA)
Enable Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) and Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) teams through documentation, administrative support, and process advocacy
Develop, review, and maintain standard operating procedures, policies, and technical documentation supporting CSSP operations
Manage the indexing, cataloging, storage, and controlled access of cybersecurity records and organizational knowledge
Prepare and maintain artifacts required for cybersecurity inspections, audits, and compliance reviews
Develop and deliver briefings, reports, white papers, incident response guidance, and technical manuals for cybersecurity tools and processes
Analyze customer needs and translate them into actionable requirements, documentation, and process improvements
Recommend and implement improvements to cybersecurity workflows, documentation, and governance
Coordinate with cross-functional technical and operational teams to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance across CSSP activities
Ensure documentation and sustainment artifacts align with government policies, schedules, and contractual requirements
Support and improve cybersecurity testing, assessment, and validation processes through feedback and continuous improvement
Present findings, reports, and recommendations clearly to technical and program stakeholders
Qualification
Required

Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening, which will include, but is not limited to, testing for marijuana use
This position requires access to federal facilities. Candidates must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card at the time of hire. Active Secret Clearance (or higher)
Current DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification with continuing education (ex., Security+ with CE)
3 or more years of general, full-time work experience
1 or more years of directly related cyber experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to both scheduled and unscheduled requests in a dynamic environment
Demonstrated technical writing experience, particularly in developing cybersecurity-related documentation
Motivation to pursue ongoing professional development, certifications, and continued learning
Preferred
Active TS/SCI Clearance (or higher)
Familiarity with DoD Security Operations Centers (SOC) environments
Understanding of Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) and Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) policies and procedures
Knowledge of DoD mission system sustainment practices
Self-motivated, proactive learner able to work independently with minimal supervision
Associate degree (or higher) in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
