Responsibilities

Conduct sterility, purity, potency, and extraneous testing for in-process materials and final product
Perform gram staining and further bacterial identification when required
Performed tasks using aseptic technique
Report any Out of Specification results
Routine lab maintenance and cleaning
Assure QC records are accurate, compliant, and capture critical data

Required

Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Veterinary Science or equivalent
Basic knowledge of Microbiology
Must have great aseptic technique

Basic skills with databases and word processing programs
Ability to perform repetitive motions
Standing for extended periods of time
Must be able to read, write legible and understand English
Visual inspection

Preferred

1 year in Quality Control or relevant lab experience
