Responsibilities

Review loan packets to ensure that they are complete and accurate

Check loan documents and data for consistency and completeness

Verify loan data entered into the system to ensure that it is accurate

Review loan files for compliance, regulatory, and internal policies and procedures

Identify and resolve data discrepancies or inaccuracies in loan packets, which may involve communicating with borrowers, lenders, and other parties

Assist in identifying and resolving issues related to loan data and documentation

Collaborate with underwriters, closers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate completion of review process

Required

Five (5+) years of experience in loan processing in the housing market (manufactured housing experience appreciated)

Comfortable in an uncertain, fast-paced environment that will evolve as our technology and business scales

Proactive and autonomous individuals

Collaborative and innovative with a strong desire for the entire team to win together

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software tools

Undergraduate degree or extended relevant work experience

High degree of attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies and inconsistencies in loan files

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of mortgage lending regulations and requirements

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel

Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Familiarity with loan origination software and loan document management systems

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
