Responsibilities
Support day-to-day project administration for an active transportation infrastructure construction project
Prepare, review, and process daily reports, pay applications, change orders, RFIs, and submittals
Maintain accurate and well-organized project documentation, correspondence, and records
Track quantities, schedules, and cost-related documentation to support project controls
Coordinate with inspectors, engineers, contractors, and project management staff to ensure timely information flow
Utilize the client’s construction management systems to track approvals, documentation, and project data
Assist with compliance tracking in accordance with contract documents and public-sector requirements
Qualification
Required
Prior experience supporting New York State transportation infrastructure projects
Hands-on experience using NYSDOT Site Manager
Familiarity with NYSDOT construction standards, procedures, and documentation requirements
NICET Level III certification or a bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced construction environment
Preferred
Prior experience on roadway, highway, or bridge projects strongly preferred
