1+ years expDelaware North is hiring an Accountant, Record to Report to join their team in Buffalo, New York. In this role, you will manage journal entries, month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and act as a liaison for unit accountants to ensure accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day direction and oversight of offshore Fixed Asset accounting teams, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned activities
Assist the Senior Accounting Manager with administrative and operational tasks related to the BlackLine reconciliation and close management tool
Monitor construction-in-progress (CIP) balances and coordinate timely CIP-to-fixed asset transfers
Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset subledger to the general ledger every month
Serve as subject matter expert for fixed asset accounting and capitalization policy
Partner with Construction, IT, & Operations to resolve challenges to ensure compliance with Fixed Asset accounting policies and capitalization guidelines
Assist with system enhancements, ERP upgrades, and fixed asset module testing
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or finance
Minimum of 1 year of accounting or finance experience required, fixed asset experience preferred
Deep understanding of accounting functions and accounting processes
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, PeopleSoft Financials, or similar accounting software including Blackline and PMWeb
Preferred
Fixed asset experience
Strong systems administration experience
Expertise in driving continuous improvement and business process management
