Responsibilities
Prepare and perform crash safety and impact simulations using LS-DYNA
Build, visualize, and analyze complex vehicle system-level CAE models
Evaluate simulation results against: New Car Assessment Program (NCAP), Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), Internal vehicle safety standards
Identify performance gaps and develop engineering countermeasures
Communicate simulation findings and recommendations to cross-functional engineering teams
Create detailed engineering documentation, analysis reports, and presentations
Collaborate with design and test engineers to support vehicle safety development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (required)
6+ years of industry experience as a CAE Analyst
5+ years of hands-on experience with LS-DYNA
Strong experience using: ANSA (pre-processing), Meta-Post (post-processing)
Proven expertise in vehicle crashworthiness and impact simulation analysis
Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Note: A related advanced degree may substitute for up to 2 years of experience
Preferred
Experience supporting automotive OEM safety programs
Familiarity with vehicle-level safety regulations and rating systems
Ability to work cross-functionally with design, test, and validation teams
