Data Center Technician

They are seeking a Data Center Technician who will utilize advanced technical skills to perform preventative maintenance and corrective repairs within a critical Data Center environment, ensuring the reliability of electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities
Perform daily inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering (M&E) systems and technical equipment
Execute servicing and maintenance activities following established processes and procedures
Ensure compliance with Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) policies, PPE requirements, and regulatory standards
Oversee and coordinate third-party vendors, ensuring adherence to site procedures and legal requirements
Accompany vendors during site visits and ensure site standards are met
Assist in developing Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) reports, SOPs, and risk assessments
Maintain accurate CERM documentation and logbooks
Complete all required training to support job responsibilities
Qualification
Required
2–4 years of experience in mechanical or electrical fields (HVAC, plumbing, or electrical)
Strong background in HVAC or Electrical systems
Knowledge of emergency response, standby, and call-out procedures
High School Diploma or GED
Preferred
EPA 608 Universal Certification
Strong communication and documentation skills
Ability to interpret technical instructions and procedures
Basic financial understanding (percentages, basic calculations)
Experience using Microsoft Excel and financial or CMMS systems
Ability to present information to teams and internal stakeholders
