EHR Analyst Pharm/UKHC
UK HealthCare is seeking an EHR Analyst Pharm for the Willow Ambulatory department. The role involves executing the system development life cycle of a new electronic health record, including system build, configuration, and integration of Pharmacy workflows.

Execute the system development life cycle (SDLC) of a new electronic health record
Conduct the EHR system build
System configuration
Support the workflow design
Develop and maintain documentation in accordance with service management standards, policies, and procedures of the business
Review and understand system configuration in vendor specifications and make recommendations on build based on clinical and operational content knowledge
Work with other clinical teams to determine which of those applications can integrate Pharmacy workflows
Ensure that both medication management safety standards and clinical decision support algorithms are in place as well as address an overarching medication safety approach
Actively participate in all phases and activities related to their scope of work within the SDLC
Execute a quality management plan tailored to the specific area of responsibility
Participate in operational and integrated workgroups to assess user feedback, gather requirements for configuration, and review / audit system build
Meet regularly with team members and project leadership to discuss the status of deliverables, issues, change communications and updates
Conduct peer review of the work product and troubleshoot problems and questions to maintain a defect-free environment
Collaborate with end-users, vendor representatives, project leadership, and other teams to ensure the design, build, and implementation is successful and meets the needs of the business
Qualification
Required
BS in Pharm or PharmD
3 yrs related experience
Licensed Pharmacist plus Epic Certification required within 90 days of hire
Experience working with complex processes
Positive attitude and willingness to work hard

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred
Retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred
Preferred experience in retail or specialty pharmacy
Epic Willow Ambulatory certification preferred
