The selected candidate will provide process engineering support, assisting in the delivery of high-quality projects and will be involved in various engineering phases and client support activities.

Responsibilities
Provide process design support through the engineering phases PEA, PFS, FS, conceptual design, front-end engineering and detailed design
Perform studies into operational site improvements and modifications
Develop, improve and promote the effective use of operations systems (i.e. JDE, SPRS, Synergy, Aconex, SMS, Dochub)
Troubleshoot and resolve process issues
Develop process flow sheets and prepare process design criteria
Prepare process calculations, PFDs, heat & material balances and P&IDs
Size process equipment and develop specifications
Coordinate with other departments to ensure safe and efficient operations
Stay up-to-date with advancements in mining processing technology and recommend implementation of new equipment or processes
Additional duties as required – may be required to work on client sites
Qualification
Required
Bachelor of Engineering (Mineral Processing, Metallurgy or Chemical Disciplines)
With 0 – 3 years of work experience; process design experience preferred
Must be eligible to register with the EGBC or will have their P.Eng EGBC designation
Knowledge of process engineering, equipment, and technologies
Good communication skills with well-developed written and oral skills
Proven ability to work as part of a team
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Must be available to travel to Client sites; may be seconded to work on projects, either temporarily relocated, or placed on a rotational roster
Must be eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship
Preferred
