Responsibilities
Assist attorneys with preparation of pleadings
Preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, and trials
Proofreading, cite checking, and editing legal documents
Project management and organization of litigation cases
Fact research
Document collection and production
Coordination of outside litigation vendors
Assembling/filing/distributing briefs
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Excellent verbal/written communication skills
Ability to communicate and interact with attorneys, clients, all levels of staff and management at the firm
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Strong organizational and time management skills; attention to detail
Ability to plan and manage work under time constraints and high-pressure situations
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently
High degree of initiative and self-motivation
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred
Prior legal experience is beneficial but not required
