Crane Aerospace & Electronics provides critical systems and components to the aerospace and defense markets. The Sales & Customer Administration Intern will develop knowledge about the business through exposure to various functional areas while assisting employees with day-to-day job assignments.

Responsibilities

Handle projects or some of the work normally performed by an entry-level, professional employee

Work with other members of the department to learn how the department functions within the company

Work with other employees in different departments to learn how other departments operate within the company

Attend seminars and meetings as assigned

Specific Projects include:

Working with the Customer Facing Team to develop a new process for receiving returns

Working with the Finance team to help develop a process for reversing quality debits

Required

Must be actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in marketing, business or communications or a graduate degree

Must be project-oriented and be able to multi-task

Knowledge/proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Access

Excellent aptitude for data collection, analysis and conducting market research

Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills

Self-motivated and presents a positive attitude in dealing with customers and co-workers

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Analytical, comfortable with numbers and making data-based decisions

Ability to fulfill a one quarter or semester internship commitment, 40 hours per week

Must provide GPA, minimum accepted 3.1 on a 4.0 scale

This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered

Preferred

Students in the process of earning a graduate degree in business management are preferred
