This role involves providing technical direction for data engineering initiatives and translating business needs into scalable data solutions while leading execution across multiple engineers.

Responsibilities
Leads the technical design and implementation of complex data pipelines, integrations, and platforms
Translates business and product requirements into scalable data solutions
Defines and maintains data engineering standards and best practices
Leads code reviews and mentors engineers
Drives resolution of complex data issues and production incidents
Partners with product and analytics teams to improve data usability
Forecasts platform evolution and scalability needs
Supports development, maintenance, and operational stability

Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree
6-8 yrs experience in data engineering with skills in Snowflake, Python, AWS
Demonstrated experience designing solutions, working in partnership with data architects
Demonstrated experience leading complex technical initiatives
Strong data engineering expertise
Ability to lead without direct people management
Strong analytical and communication skills
Preferred
A certificate of training or expert in one of the systems supported
