Responsibilities
Serve as first-chair trial counsel, leading cases from inception through verdict
Develop and execute trial strategy and case themes
Take and defend expert and fact depositions
Argue dispositive and pre-trial motions
Handle court appearances, hearings, and trial proceedings
Work directly with clients on case evaluation, exposure analysis, and trial preparation
Mentor associates and contribute to a strong trial culture
Qualification
Required
7–10+ years of civil litigation experience, primarily in general liability and/or personal injury defense
First-chair trial experience to verdict (jury or bench)
Strong skills in trial advocacy, motion practice, and litigation strategy
Confident courtroom presence and sound judgment under pressure
A team-oriented mindset and interest in mentoring and leadership
Active California Bar license
