Helps develop and implement improvements in processes and safety in a manufacturing environment
Maintains an action register and responsible for weekly updates on progress
Participates in problem solving training on site
Assists with implementing new tooling
Able to work independently on small projects such as drafting, 3D printing, assembly of new tools/ fixtures)
Performs all other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
Ability to work in person during summer break full-time
Ability to work effectively in a variety of environments and assignments
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team member
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Must be a US Citizen or US Permanent Resident
Preferred
Sophomore or higher class standing preferred
