Responsibilities
Strategic Financial Leadership
Provide planning, strategy, and tactical financial direction to support company goals:
20% annual revenue growth, 15% profitability, 30% annual ROI
Advise leadership on business performance, investment decisions, and long-term growth opportunities
Accounting Operations & Process Improvement
Strengthen core accounting processes and ensure GAAP-aligned accounting
Dig into details to fix issues; know when to step back and consider the bigger picture
Operational Finance & Cost Management
Analyze and optimize operating costs, vendor spending, and resource allocation
Budgeting & Financial Planning
Lead the development of a rigorous budgeting process across departments
Build short- and long-term financial models, forecasts, and scenario analyses to support planning
Metrics, Reporting & Analysis
Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including SaaS metrics
Fundraising & Investor Relations
Prepare financial narratives, pitch decks, and due diligence processes for investors/VCs
Team Leadership & Mentorship
Qualification
Required
12+ years of progressive financial experience in successful, high-growth companies
Excellent financial expertise; able to perform at high levels of intensity/quality
Proven track record improving financial systems, cost structure, and reporting
Education: Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
Tech Stack: Proficiency with accounting systems and financial modeling tools
Fundraising: Experience with investor relations and raising capital
Preferred
MBA or CPA is strongly preferred
