Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and maintain Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards using best-practice data modeling (Star/Snowflake schema)
Write efficient SQL in Snowflake to build views, transformations, and curated data sets for reporting and self-service
Collaborate with data engineers and business stakeholders to refine requirements and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability
Implement row-level security, workspace governance, and deployment practices in Power BI Service
Monitor report and query performance, troubleshoot issues, and tune models/SQL as needed
Document data definitions, measures, and report logic to support adoption and self-service analytics
Qualification
Required
BS/BA or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field
At least 1 year of professional experience developing analytics solutions using Power BI
At least 1 year of hands-on experience working with Snowflake
Strong understanding of data warehousing and data modeling
Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Experience unit testing (test classes) and validating change sets
