Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using .NET Core/Framework and Azure Web Apps
Build and consume RESTful APIs to integrate applications with various systems and services
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security within Azure environments
Develop scalable solutions using Azure Functions, App Services, and other Azure PaaS offerings
Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform
Create and maintain PowerShell scripts for automating Azure infrastructure deployments, monitoring, and system integrations
Implement automated workflows to streamline DevOps processes
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture, APIs, workflows, and deployment guides
Use Jira to manage tasks, track progress, and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in applications, APIs, and cloud services
Monitor Azure Web Apps and API performance using tools like Azure Monitor and Application Insights
Qualification
Required
Proficiency in C# and the .NET Framework/Core for web and API development
Knowledge in building and consuming RESTful APIs
Hands-on experience with Azure Web Apps and related cloud hosting services a plus
Understanding of Azure PaaS services, including App Services, Azure Functions, Storage Accounts, and API Management
Advanced knowledge of PowerShell for scripting and automation
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and using Jira for project management
Ability to produce clear, thorough, and well-organized documentation for technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
Preferred
Azure Active Directory and securing APIs with OAuth2, JWT, or similar protocols
Knowledge of database systems such as SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, and Cosmos DB
Familiarity with Azure Monitor, App Insights, and centralized logging tools
Exposure to Python, Bash, or other scripting languages a plus
