Responsibilities
Architect Patient Engagement/DTC strategy: Guide Beta as it revolutionizes Diabetes Med Tech marketing from legacy concepts to the DTC/lifestyle future
Maximize ROI: Hold full accountability for planning, forecasting, and budgeting, ensuring every dollar spent delivers maximum return on investment and quantifiable business impact
Drive Revenue & Alignment: Partner closely with Sales, Operations, and Clinical Affairs to create symbiotic strategies that unify consumer demand with payer access and provider adoption
Brand Evolution: Lead the end-to-end evolution of the corporate and brand identities to build a commanding new position in the market
The "Outside-In" Perspective: Elevate the organization’s IQ by instituting regular "Insights" forums, ensuring the entire C-suite understands the competitive landscape and customer pulse
Customer Experience Champion: Map the end-to-end customer journey to identify friction points and emotional moments that matter most, creating opportunities to reduce cognitive burden, build trust, and meaningfully improve quality of life for users and their caregivers
Human-Centered Storytelling: Develop brand and product narratives that reflect the emotional, psychological, and lifestyle realities of living with a chronic condition, elevating the brand from a medical solution to a trusted daily companion
Lifestyle-Driven Positioning: Ensure marketing strategies reflect how our technology integrates into real life—work, family, travel, social settings, and long-term independence—not just clinical environments
Patient Voice as Strategy: Institutionalize direct patient insights and lived-experience feedback as a core input into brand strategy, creative development, and go-to-market execution
Build a Legacy Team: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing, cross-functional team, fostering a culture of agility, accountability, and innovation ensuring they are experts in cutting edge patient reach techniques via DTC
Executive Collaboration: Serve as a key representative of the commercial organization, breaking down silos to ensure seamless execution across all business units
Qualification
Required
A minimum of 10 years of documented leadership experience, with a proven track record of scaling functions in complex environments
Proven experience leading successful product launches from conception to market dominance
Bachelor's degree required
Preferred
Experience navigating both the agility of Start-Up/Microcap environments and the structure of Large Company (MedTech/Pharma) organizations
Demonstrated experience building emotionally resonant brands in healthcare, consumer health, or adjacent categories where lifestyle, identity, and long-term engagement are critical
Master's degree or MBA is highly preferred
