Responsibilities
Assist Quality Engineering and Operational Excellence teams with project execution
Collect, analyze, and report factory metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Conduct process time studies and develop process maps to identify inefficiencies
Recommend and help implement process improvements to enhance productivity and quality
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and quality initiatives
Investigate production issues, analyze root causes, and propose effective solutions
Prepare and present progress reports to stakeholders
Perform additional duties as assigned to support manufacturing and quality goals
Qualification
Required
Must be pursuing a degree in Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering with a minimum of two years completed
Knowledge or experience in use of statistics for engineering applications
Familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Quality Engineering, 5S, 8D, FMEA, and 5 Why's analysis
Familiarity with Bill of Materials (BOM) structures
Ability to work in cleanroom manufacturing environment
Must be comfortable with a rapidly changing work environment
Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
Hands on, multitasking, priority setting and risk management
Proficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programs
Must be able to read and interpret Engineering data, information, and documents
Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
Result driven-demonstrate ownership and accountability
Identifies bottlenecks and drives improvements
Work independently or as part of a team and follow through on assignments with minimal supervision
Demonstrate open, clear, concise and professional communication
