Required

Bachelor of Science in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical field (equivalent education/experience considered)
5+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with nondestructive testing (NDT/NDE) methods and applications
Knowledge of Electric Boat and/or NAVSEA specifications
Experience with ISO 9001 and NADCAP quality management systems
Ability to interpret MIL-SPEC, AMS, ASTM, ASME, and other industry specifications
Knowledge of NDE techniques and applicable standards
Expertise in metallurgy, forging processes, and heat treatment operations
GD&T proficiency
Familiarity with AMS 2750E pyrometry requirements
Knowledge of naval shipbuilding quality requirements
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel; working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint
Experience with quality management software systems
Quality systems auditing training/certification (Internal Auditor minimum; Lead Auditor preferred)
AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality systems training
