Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA) is seeking a Strategy & Research Analyst to support their Strategy and Research team. This role involves transforming data into insights that inform decisions across various departments, as well as compiling and interpreting information to produce actionable reports for leadership.

Responsibilities

Collect, analyze, and present tourism and convention data at the local, national, and global levels, ensuring accuracy and clarity

Use business intelligence tools such as Excel, Power BI, and Tableau to organize and visualize data that supports departmental initiatives

Maintain current knowledge of hotel, convention, and tourism industry trends and terminology; track key metrics for hotel inventory, meeting space, and convention activity

Manage a steady flow of research assignments and ad hoc data requests from internal teams and partners, reprioritizing as needed to meet deadlines

Build strong working relationships with internal teams, hotel partners, destination stakeholders, and other agencies to ensure consistent, credible reporting

Handle proprietary and confidential data responsibly while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism

Required

High school diploma required
