Project Manager – Community Development
Keck & Wood, Inc. is a growing employee-owned consulting firm specializing in community development and engineering. They are seeking a Project Manager to lead project management, relationship development, and mentoring efforts to ensure project success in various public design projects.

Responsibilities
Manage scope, schedule, budget and client expectations
Coordinate with clients, consultants and design staff as needed
Prepare monthly invoicing, internal & external progress reports, etc
Build and maintain sufficient work backlog for staff utilization
Craft proposals which define scope, schedule, labor hours & fees; coordinate with subconsultants on scope & fee. Negotiate fees with clients
Research & network with current and prospective clients, identify business opportunities
Network with consultants, develop beneficial teaming relationships
Attend conferences & actively participate in professional organizations
Attend functions and serve on committees with clients
Connect with clients through consistent visits and touchpoints
Assist clients with unforeseen needs that can help advance projects or initiatives
Prepare monthly progress reports
Perform annual reviews for assigned staff, set growth goals & objectives
Recommend staff pay adjustments and advancements
Mentor junior-level staff
Keep current & provide team training on design trends, regulations, codes, etc
Qualification
Required
BS degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
Georgia PE certification required or immediate reciprocity ability
5-10 years of experience as a Project Manager in a A/E/C role
5-10+ years of experience in site development design
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D software
Experience desirable in one or all of these design types: parks & recreation, stormwater, bicycle & pedestrian, community planning
Strong written & verbal communication skills; ability to thrive on a team
