Maintenance Technician - Stanford Place
Mills Properties is an award-winning property management company seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians to maintain their properties. The role involves performing preventive maintenance, completing service requests, and ensuring the overall safety and appearance of the property.

Responsibilities
Complete service requests in an effective, timely manner and to the satisfaction of residents
Perform preventive maintenance on property buildings, units, appliances, and equipment
Ensure all repairs, replacements, and clean-up are completed for the make-ready process
Communicate daily with the property office, reporting on the progress of service requests and make-readies
Identify and report any safety concerns, hazardous conditions, or maintenance needs to management
Assist other maintenance team members as needed
Monitor pool operations on a daily basis and maintain appropriate health department standards
Maintain curb appeal by assisting with groundskeeping and picking up litter
Assist with housekeeping, inspections, and other tasks as assigned by the property manager or maintenance supervisor
Maintain positive communication with residents and provide excellent service through courteous and timely responses to resident needs and concerns
Perform call-back emergency service as required
Maintain organization and cleanliness of work areas and maintenance shops
Abide by Mills policies and procedures and all laws pertaining to Fair Housing, the Americans with Disabilities Act, etc

Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
EPA Certification Type I and II, or Universal, required; or willingness to complete certification within the first 90 days of employment
Proven ability to maintain composure and solve problems with keen insight when faced with obstacles
Ability to work a varied schedule, including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts
Ability to work in extreme environmental conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.)
Valid driver's license
Adept at building relationships and working in a team environment, with a proven track record of sharing ideas, providing encouragement, building on others' ideas, giving due appreciation, and bringing out the best in others
Preferred
trade school degree preferred
Minimum one year of maintenance experience preferred
