Research
Responsibilities
Review, prepare, and process period journal entries during month-end close (e.g., cross-charges, accruals, prepaid amortizations, leases)
Ensure all capital and expense spending complies with GAAP and PepsiCo accounting policies
Manage labor accruals for vendors and upload periodic accounting entries
Validate, approve, and release projects for spend during Out-of-Cycle (OOC) and Annual Operating Plan (AOP) processes
Perform SOX controls related to capital spend and prepaid expenses
Handle ad hoc accounting projects and reconciliation requests
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related business field
At least 2 years of relevant accounting or financial experience
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial data reconciliation
Ability to communicate effectively and provide insights to cross-functional teams
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently and exercise sound professional judgment
