They are seeking a Marina General Manager to oversee all marina operations and ensure that goals and sales targets are met while providing excellent customer service and maintaining compliance with health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

Overseeing all marina operations and ensuring that goals, objectives and sales targets are met through planning, directing and managing the marina staff
Overseeing capital projects and making recommendations for the upgrading of facilities to ensure full compliance with health and safety requirements
Providing excellence in customer service through all interactions and maintaining a productive working relationship with owners, board members or municipalities

Qualification

Marina operationsBoating/yachting experienceCapital project managementBusiness planningVHF communicationFirst-aidFire-fighting proceduresCustomer service

Required

Bachelor's degree in business, hotel management/engineering or equivalent
up to eight years of experience in boating/yachting and/or the hospitality sector
Sound knowledge of marina operations, boat lifting, handling, towing, plant and equipment maintenance
Ability to prepare business plans and monitor outcomes
Proven skills in VHF communication, first-aid and fire-fighting procedures

Preferred

Experience in large scale capital projects
