Graduate Engineer I, Transportation
Halff is a full-service infrastructure consulting firm that has an immediate opening for a Graduate Engineer I in Transportation. The role involves designing civil engineering projects under supervision, performing calculations, assisting in permit preparation, coordinating with team members, and attending client meetings.

Responsibilities
Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
Perform calculations and analysis for design projects
Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors and contractors
Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
Valid Driver's License and acceptable Driving Record
The ability to obtain an EIT Certificate within one (1) year
Great communication skills
Solid relationship and team building skills
Self-motivated and strong organization skills
0 to 3 years of experience in Transportation Design for roadway & highway design projects
Experience in MicroStation and/or OpenRoads Designer
Knowledge of applicable traffic engineering/ITS, and roadway standards and methods
