Associate Principal Compensation Analyst

The Associate Principal Compensation Analyst serves as a senior individual contributor and subject-matter expert within the Compensation team, partnering with various departments to design and administer global compensation programs.

Responsibilities
Lead complex analyses to evaluate market competitiveness of base, variable, and equity compensation programs
Partner with People Business Partners and business leaders to develop and model compensation proposals for new and existing roles
Manage annual and ad hoc compensation cycle analytics, including merit, promotion, and bonus reviews
Conduct market benchmarking and participate in compensation surveys to maintain accurate, current market data
Develop compensation models, dashboards, and forecasting tools to support people and finance decision-making
Advise leadership on compensation frameworks for emerging job families, new geographies, and organizational growth initiatives
Ensure compliance with internal governance standards, pay transparency laws, and global reporting requirements
Serve as a compensation consultant to senior People partners, providing interpretation and recommendations for complex pay scenarios
Lead cross-functional projects related to job architecture, levelling, and total rewards enablement
Job Complexity: Performs highly complex analyses requiring deep technical expertise and strong business judgment. Solves problems that are broad in scope and often require a cross-functional approach
Required Supervision: Operates independently with minimal direction; work is reviewed primarily for strategic alignment and policy consistency
Expertise: Recognized internal expert in compensation analytics, benchmarking, and program design; influences decisions through data-driven insights and thought leadership
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field; Master's preferred
Experience with compensation within a technology or software development company is required
12+ years of experience in compensation analysis, consulting, or total rewards design
Advanced proficiency in Excel, data modeling, and analytics; experience with Workday, Radford, or other survey platforms required
Strong understanding of job architecture frameworks, market pricing, and global pay regulations
Excellent analytical, presentation, and storytelling skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Preferred
CCP or similar professional certification preferred
