Executive Director
Lumina Las Vegas is a part of Solera Senior Living, dedicated to making a difference in the lives of seniors. They are seeking an experienced Executive Director to lead their Memory Care community, ensuring operational excellence and compliance while fostering a safe environment for residents with cognitive impairments.

Responsibilities
Provide full administrative authority and accountability for Memory Care operations, resident services, staffing, and financial performance
Ensure compliance with all Memory Care–specific licensing, dementia care regulations, and corporate policies
Lead, recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing leadership team with a focus on dementia-informed care and resident-centered practices
Ensure all team members are properly trained in Memory Care programming, behavior management, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
Drive occupancy and census growth in partnership with Sales & Marketing; maintain tools to track leads, projections, and conversion results
Oversee financial performance, including budget adherence, expense control, billing, and accounts receivable
Ensure residents admitted are appropriate for licensure and that services align with pre-move-in assessments, care plans, and physician orders
Maintain the physical environment to support resident safety, security, and well-being, including wander management and emergency preparedness
Partner closely with nursing, wellness, and Memory Care leadership to ensure high-quality care delivery and clinical oversight
Serve as the primary contact for families, addressing concerns with empathy, transparency, and professionalism
Lead survey readiness efforts, participate in regulatory inspections, and develop corrective action plans as needed
Promote continuous quality improvement and remain current on best practices in dementia care and Memory Care operations
Champion workplace safety, OSHA compliance, and risk management
Represent the community as a leader and advocate in the local Memory Care and aging services network
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, hospitality, and compassion
Qualification
Required
Meets all applicable State of Nevada Memory Care Administrator / Executive Director requirements, including: Completion of state-approved training and education, Successful completion of required state licensing examination, Minimum of 2,080 hours of paid experience in a health-related field within the past five years, Valid fingerprint clearance card (or ability to obtain)
Demonstrated knowledge of dementia care, resident behaviors, and Memory Care regulatory requirements
Strong leadership, decision-making, and crisis-management skills
Financial and operational acumen with experience managing budgets and census performance
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with residents, families, team members, and regulators
High level of integrity, professionalism, and emotional intelligence
Genuine compassion for residents with cognitive impairment and their families
Preferred
Prior leadership experience in Memory Care, Assisted Living, or dementia-focused senior living strongly preferred
