Responsibilities

Lead a team focused on building Legend’s next-generation trading experiences for web and desktop

Set and communicate a clear technical direction aligned with product strategy, holding a high bar for quality, performance, and maintainability as the product scales

Partner cross-functionally with design, product, AI, and infrastructure teams to enhance the core product experience and enable expansion across new asset types, account structures, and geographies

Foster a collaborative, inclusive team environment where engineers across experience levels can do their best work, grow in their careers, and feel ownership over both technical outcomes and product impact

Be a thoughtful technical leader within the team, aiding in diligent architectural decisions and fostering a culture of high-quality code and engineering processes

Required

At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience

At least 2 years of engineering management experience leading product-focused engineering teams

Deep understanding of web architecture and best practices for building modular, scalable systems within large, evolving codebases

Proven ability to grow engineers across levels, through mentorship, feedback, and clear expectations that raise technical rigor and ownership

An execution-focused mindset with a strong passion for building and leading product-focused teams, capable of navigating ambiguity and delivering results
