Research Associate
New Jersey Institute of Technology is seeking a Research Associate for the Center for Computational Heliophysics. Responsibilities
Development of helioseismology methods, analysis of large data sets from Solar Observatory, global-Sun MHD modeling methods and software, publication of original research, and support of CCH projects
Qualification
Required
Ph.D. in solar/applied physics or related field
Must demonstrate the ability to perform independent research and publish peer-reviewed articles
Experience in analyzing observational data from the Solar Dynamics Observatory and 3D numerical simulations
Strong background in solar physics, helioseismology, MHD modeling, mathematics, statistics, and computational methods
Preferred
Experience in helioseismology and/or numerical MHD simulations
