Astrolab is pioneering new ways to explore and operate on distant planetary bodies, and they are seeking an IT Service Desk Engineering Intern to support day-to-day IT needs. This hands-on role focuses on resolving issues quickly and delivering great end-user support to keep the team productive.

Responsibilities

Own and manage incoming IT support tickets from start to finish

Image, configure, and deploy laptops for new and existing employees

Support user onboarding and offboarding (accounts, access, equipment)

Track and manage IT assets (inventory, assignments, returns)

Set up and support audio/video for meetings and team events

Partner with the Cloud Engineering team when issues escalate or overlap

Willing to jump into other areas of IT and assist where necessary

Willing to learn new products and services

Qualification

Required

Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields

At least 3 months of hands-on experience outside of the classroom, including extracurricular project teams, personal projects, or prior internship/work experience

Exposure to Office 365 suite of products

Exposure to Windows 11, MacOS, iOS
