Responsibilities

Design, configure, and maintain information technology infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage systems

Monitor system performance and ensure uptime, availability, and optimal functioning of infrastructure components

Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to minimize downtime

Evaluate existing infrastructure and recommend upgrades or improvements to support growth and efficiency

Implement and maintain security measures to protect infrastructure from vulnerabilities and cyber threats

Document infrastructure configurations, procedures, and changes to ensure accurate records are maintained

Support the implementation of disaster recovery and backup strategies to safeguard data integrity

Collaborate with information technology teams, vendors, and a variety of assorted personnel on infrastructure-related projects and initiatives

Research emerging technologies and assess their potential impact on the agency’s or organization’s infrastructure

Provide support and training to end-users and junior information technology personnel as necessary

Required

Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working across teams
