Responsibilities
Alongside external support, lead the technical implementation of enhancements across a commercial lending nCino platform
Partner closely with Product Owners, Architects, and business leaders to assess feasibility, shape solutions, and translate requirements into technical designs
Own complex development work including custom configuration, integrations, workflows, and platform extensions
Provide technical leadership through code reviews, design guidance, and hands-on mentorship of junior developers
Break down large initiatives into executable work items, estimate effort, manage dependencies, and support delivery planning
Ensure solutions meet quality, security, and compliance standards in a highly regulated environment
Serve as an escalation point for advanced troubleshooting and production issues
Stay current on vendor platform enhancements and evaluate opportunities to extend system capabilities
Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies, backlog refinement, and release planning while balancing technical debt and new development
Collaborate with external vendors and partners as part of a blended delivery model
Qualification
Required
8+ years of experience in software development, platform engineering, or enterprise application administration
5+ years of hands-on experience administering and developing on the nCino platform
Prior experience in a lead or supervisory capacity, formally or informally
Strong understanding of commercial lending workflows and financial services systems
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Salesforce and/or nCino configuration and development (Apex or comparable languages preferred)
Experience with workflow automation, business rules engines, or process orchestration platforms
Familiarity with Agile delivery models and SDLC best practices
Exposure to IT service management, change management, and release governance
Comfort operating in cloud-based enterprise environments
