Mid, Senior LevelDYNE is seeking an experienced Ping Engineer with strong Microsoft Entra expertise to support and evolve a large-scale Identity Access Management environment. The role focuses on the progressive migration of enterprise applications from Ping Identity to Microsoft Entra, ensuring secure and compliant identity services across critical financial platforms.

Responsibilities
Provide BAU support for Ping Identity platforms, including:
Manage authentication, authorization, federation, and SSO services for banking and asset management applications
Ensure high availability, performance, and security of IAM services
Support and execute the migration of applications from Ping to Microsoft Entra
Design and implement authentication flows using:
Re-platform legacy federation and access models into Entra-native architectures
Assist with application onboarding, testing, and cutover planning
Configure and manage:
Integrate Entra with cloud and on-prem systems
Apply Zero Trust and least-privilege principles
Ensure IAM solutions meet financial services security and regulatory requirements
Support audits, access reviews, and compliance initiatives
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve IAM-related incidents
Maintain documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures
Work with application owners, security teams, and infrastructure teams
Provide technical guidance and IAM best practices
Participate in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience with Ping Identity (PingFederate, PingAccess, PingID)
Proven experience with Microsoft Entra (Azure AD)
Deep understanding of SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect
Identity federation and SSO architectures
Experience migrating IAM platforms or applications between identity providers
Experience working in banking, financial services, or asset management environments
Understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory constraints in FS
Must be based in Ireland
Must have valid Irish work authorisation
Able to work fully remote while supporting Irish/European stakeholders
Preferred
Azure platform knowledge
IAM automation using PowerShell or scripting
Certificate management and PKI
Experience with CIAM or workforce IAM models
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup
Structured, detail-oriented approach to IAM and security
Comfortable operating in long-term BAU and transformation environments
