Responsibilities
Development of practical solutions and implementation of technical development projects in the field of fiber optics
Technical and organizational responsibility for fiber optic development projects
Creation of product and process requirements for the manufacture of fiber optic components and assemblies
Creation of process and test instructions as well as technical documentation
Definition and application of suitable optical measurement technology
Qualification
Required
Successfully completed degree in engineering or natural sciences with a focus on physics, optics, laser technology (M.Sc.)
In-depth knowledge and practical experience in the field of fiber optics
Several years of professional experience in industrial companies in the development of fiber technology solutions
Experience in development project management
Confident use of CAD systems (e.g., SolidEdge) and knowledge of data processing and analysis (e.g., with Phyton)
Qualification in ray optical design with Zemax OpticStudio
Structured, independent way of working and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
Confident written and spoken German and English
