Hardware Testing Lab Manager
ASML is a leader in semiconductor technology, and they are seeking a Hardware Testing Lab Manager to oversee laboratory operations and support advanced hardware development. Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations across multiple laboratories and ensure consistent safety, quality, and performance
Lead the requirements and design activities for a new laboratory planned for 2027
Support engineers with experiment setup, execution, and troubleshooting to maintain accuracy and efficiency
Maintain a safe work environment through training, audits, and compliance with regulatory standards
Manage laboratory equipment through inspections, maintenance coordination, and timely repairs
Improve laboratory workflows by identifying upgrades and implementing process enhancements
Develop long‑term plans for lab capabilities, including equipment needs, layout planning, and budget requirements
Qualification
Required
You must be work authorized in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship
Bachelor's degree, master's degree, or PhD in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, physics, or a related field
Ten years of laboratory experience with a bachelor's degree, eight with a master's degree, or six with a PhD
At least three years of experience managing a laboratory or test facility
Hands‑on experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, optical, and control systems
Apply laboratory safety practices with care and consistency
Troubleshoot and maintain pumps, chillers, vacuum systems, and other lab equipment
Use and troubleshoot instrumentation such as pressure sensors and temperature measurement devices
Work with data acquisition systems and basic programming tools
Think strategically and solve problems in a structured way
Communicate clearly across technical and non‑technical teams
Work independently while managing several priorities
Anticipate and resolve technical issues proactively
Create clear, accurate documentation
Stay organized in fast‑moving environments
