Hub Forklift Operator - Logistics
PODS is a logistics company seeking a Hub Forklift Operator to manage forklift operations at their facility. The role involves loading and unloading containers, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring efficient inventory management.

Responsibilities
Ability to complete forklift training and safely operate a 21,000 lb. capacity forklift
Adhere to all safety policies and perform all tasks in a safe manner including adherence to OSHA regulations
Complete daily forklift inspection reports and maintain records onsite
Notify Hub manager of needed forklift repairs
Fuel forklift
Maintain the forklift to ensure it is kept clean and in good repair
Follow AM SOP by printing routes & pulling ancillary when assigned
Utilize TMW Management System to add assigned containers and print / time stamp waybills, manifests, and trip sheets
Check Shipment documents for container assignment accuracy, make sure all loading checks are made, and are signed off on the manifest for each container
Maintain container inventory
Ensure that all full containers are staged appropriately to ensure timely loading on outbound trucks
Inspect each container for PODs brand standards i.e. damaged or missing signs, structural damage, missing hardware
When required repair damaged containers
Assist Hub Manager with Routing when needed
Maintain contact with drivers as needed, assisting them with their daily routes
Assist with ensuring a safe and clean working environment
Hub / Yard clean up
May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
2-5 years large forklift experience required
Ability to obtain Forklift Driver Certification
Possess basic computer skills i.e. knowledge of Microsoft Office and Web based Data Entry
Possess math skills sufficient to perform required duties
Ability to complete forklift training and safely operate a 21,000 lb. capacity forklift

Ability to sit at a desk and use a computer for up to 8 hours a day; Ability to use hands and fingers to type on a keyboard and use a mouse to navigate; Vision sufficient to view small details on a computer monitor
Ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day; ability to stoop, bend and lift boxes weighing up to 50 lbs
Ability to hear and verbally communicate using a telephone handset and/or connected headset device
Regular attendance and punctuality required
May be subject to pre-employment criminal background check and/or drug screening as well as random drug screenings in accordance with company policy
