This role involves overseeing logistics, managing budgets, and ensuring successful execution of conferences, tradeshows, and hosted buyer events.

Responsibilities
Lead event operations for assigned events from site selection through execution
Oversee site evaluations, contract negotiations, and venue selection
Manage AV planning, decor, production, transportation, and entertainment
Partner with coordinators to manage sponsor, speaker, and exhibitor deliverables
Oversee on-site event setup and execution; troubleshoot issues as needed
Maintain and manage event budgets; negotiate and oversee vendor contracts
Develop event timelines, budgets, and process documentation
Coordinate all vendor communications including catering, security, decor, AV, registration, and logistics
Collaborate with creative team to design signage and attendee journey mapping
Manage sleeping room blocks, travel arrangements, and accommodations
Qualification
Required
3+ years of live event operations experience (corporate events required; weddings, parties, etc., not applicable)
Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
Proven ability to independently manage large-scale events and vendor relationships
Strong experience with event budgeting and financial management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong email etiquette required
Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable with strong problem-solving skills
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Smartsheet (or similar), Salesforce (basic contract lookup), and other common event tech platforms
Comfort working in fast-paced, high-pressure environments with shifting priorities
Willingness and ability to travel as required
Preferred
Preference is to work in the East Coast Time Zone
