EHS Engineer
Atomica is looking for an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Engineer. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive EHS program for their semiconductor manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations while supporting safe operations.

Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and continuously improve site EHS programs and policies
Ensure regulatory compliance with OSHA/Cal-OSHA, Fire Code, CUPA, DTSC, air permitting, stormwater and Industrial wastewater management, etc
Manage hazardous materials and hazardous waste programs
Develop and deliver safety training and new employee orientation
Lead incident investigations, audits, and corrective actions
Support tool installs, facilities projects, and risk assessments
Own emergency response and preparedness programs
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in EHS, Scientific, or related field
4+ years EHS experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, or high-tech environment
Strong knowledge of safety and environmental regulations
Excellent communication and leadership skills
CSP, CIH, CHMM or similar certification
Semiconductor or cleanroom experience
