Responsibilities

Collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration
Qualified candidates must have experience with digital, analog and/or RF testing and experience debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems. Knowledge of RF / microwave devices preferred
Travel Requirements: less than 10% annually
Shift Information: 1st shift
One will gain knowledge of various electrical components, Circuit Card Assemblies, RF, analog, digital and / or mixed signal circuit design or analysis
One will achieve a RTX Core Certification and a Raytheon Responsible Engineer Authority (REA) Certification

Required

Must be a Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or Post-Graduate by the start of summer 2026 in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM). For example, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering Technology, Systems Engineering, Physics, Math, or related
This position requires experience with any of the following: RF, analog, digital, and / or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and / or digital signal processing
Required Security Clearance: The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
This position can be a Sophomore Technical, Junior Technical, Senior Technical, or Post-Graduate Technical based on the candidate's qualifications and standing as outlined below: Sophomore Technical - must have completed 30 credit hours by start of internship
Junior Technical - must have completed 60 credit hours of college by start of internship
Senior Technical - must have completed 90 credit hours of college by start of internship
Post-Graduate Technical - must have an undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a graduate degree program (in degree fields listed in Qualifications You Must Have) by start of internship

Preferred

Experience performing electrical engineering design of CCA, EO, RF, Seeker/Sensor, or electronic subsystem; including circuit design, CCA assembly, electrical test and production/supplier/sub-tier supplier support of test equipment, test automation scripting, test conduction, sensor control, printed circuit board fabrication, circuit card assembly processes and related industry specifications
Experience with any of the following tools: Mentor Graphics Designer, PSPICE, System Vision, MATLAB, Mathcad, IDL, Computer Simulation Technologies (CST), Microwave Design Studio, High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS), Advanced Design System (ADS), Signal Generator, Oscilloscope, and Spectrum Analyzer
Familiarity with missile communication transceivers and data links, inertial measurement units (IMU) and Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver subsystems
Experience with subsystems integration and test, post test flight analysis, problem investigation, Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods in achieving production yield improvements, technical writing, formal presentation, and implementing Engineering Change Notices
Leadership of small technical teams, including technical oversight and direction, cost estimation, tracking & reporting, coordination, preparation of detailed technical team reports, and proposal support
